About The Witch’s Book of Self-Care
The Witch’s Book of Self Care is a magical book of self-help, self-care, and self-love, which is definitely one of its kind. I randomly found this book on Goodreads and thought “This book is for me!” First of all, it has such an eye-soothing cover that I could just keep looking at for hours. The book consists of 5 chapters:
• Self-Care and Magic
• Mental and Emotional Self-Care
• Physical Self-Care
• Spiritual Self-Care
• Household Self-Care
The names of chapters might sound really simple and ordinary like every other self-help book but trust me when I say it talks about self-care from a very different perspective. I felt a very positive vibe when I was reading this book and I’m pretty sure it’ll stay with me for a long time. One thing which appealed the most to me was that self-love is not always about taking yourself out on dates or having a treat and calling it a “cheat day” but it is about little nuances in your schedule every day.
As the title says, it’s a book for witches, so it does contain a number of rituals that consist of practices with incense sticks and candles and different types of stones and DIY concoctions. It’s completely your call how religiously you want to follow those. The book might be more relatable for women but the basic self-love tips are applicable to everyone. If you’re bored of the basic self-help books, you can pick this up anytime and fall in love with it.
